Course Overview

The Diploma of Electrical Engineering provides advanced theoretical and technical skills for work in electrical engineering, industrial automation, power systems, and emerging technologies. This qualification builds strong capability in electrical design, analysis, programming, control systems, and engineering problemsolving. Learners engage with engineering mathematics, CAD design, microcontrollers/PLC systems, AC/DC motor control, polyphase circuits, and power distribution concepts. The program supports pathways into engineering paraprofessional roles and further study in electrical engineering.

Course Structure

In order to achieve this qualification, students must complete 5 core units and 12 elective units (total of 17 units of competency).
