UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician is the nationally recognised trade qualification that provides the skills and knowledge required to work as a licensed electrician. This course covers the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Training includes working safely with electricity, using electrical tools and equipment, solving problems in low-voltage AC and DC circuits, installing wiring systems, testing and diagnosing faults, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and workplace health and safety requirements.This qualification is designed for students undertaking an apprenticeship pathway and combines practical workplace training with structured study. Graduates will be equipped to carry out electrical installation and maintenance work, meet licensing requirements, and apply for registration as an electrician (subject to state and territory regulatory authority approval).
