The Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling provides graduates with the comprehensive skills and knowledge required to work as a qualified wall and floor tiler in the building and construction industry. This nationally recognised trade qualification covers the full range of tiling tasks, including preparing surfaces, laying wall and floor tiles, using tile cutting tools and equipment, applying waterproofing, decorative tiling, and working safely in compliance with workplace health and safety requirements. This course is designed for students from a wide range of age groups and backgrounds who are seeking to complete an apprenticeship pathway. Graduates will be equipped to work in both residential and commercial construction, undertaking new builds, refurbishments, renovations, and repair work. The qualification provides a direct pathway to employment across the domestic and commercial/industrial construction sectors. CPC31320 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling supersedes and is equivalent to CPC31311 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling.

Course Structure

In order to achieve this qualification, students must complete 17 core units and 3 elective units (total of 20 units of competency).
