Course Overview

The Certificate III in Plumbing provides graduates with the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified plumber in the building and construction industry. This nationally recognised trade qualification covers the full scope of plumbing work, including water supply, sanitary, drainage, roofing, gas services, mechanical services, and compliance with workplace health and safety regulations. This course is designed for students from a range of age groups and backgrounds who are seeking to complete an apprenticeship pathway. Graduates will be equipped to work in both residential and commercial/industrial plumbing, carrying out installations, maintenance, and repair work across a variety of environments.

Course Structure

In order to achieve this qualification, students must complete 55 units of competency, made up of 39 core units and 16 elective units (electives are chosen to support different plumbing streams such as water, sanitary, drainage, roofing, gas, and mechanical services).
